The SPIRIT OF COMPETITION is the energy that one puts at the service of an objective, in a process of surpassing oneself, to win. If the stakes are high, this surpassing can lead you to kill your opponent, perceived as an enemy. It is also a state motivated by the desire for adrenaline, for action, for growth.
Everyone has a desire for emotional growth, which consists of overcoming fears in order to have more energy. If it is a country or a company, this desire is confused with economic growth. If it is an individual, it is confused with the accumulation of property, power, relationship. When an employee is in the grip of the competitive spirit, he or she may forget his or her own life for the benefit of the company’s interests. Economic competition then turns into economic warfare, while his social life deteriorates and he is exposed to MTNC.
The spirit of competition is necessarily oriented towards the desire to fight, for something, therefore, against someone. But why act against someone? Because this desire can be combined with other, often less logical reasons: pride, zeal, resentment, anger, social subgroup culture, search for favor or sympathy.
