The CSR approach contributes to the process of social reproduction in which parents are role models. The family is perceived as an organization where each member has a specific function. As manager, the father organizes the family resources with the collaboration of his wife.
To do this, the necessary CSR principles are :
- Responsibility: the father assumes responsibility for the family, taking care of its health, education and well-being,
- Accountability: each member of the family is accountable for the responsible use of the family’s resources,
- Financial transparency: for the father, it consists in establishing a family budget whose management is entrusted to the wife,
- Audit of practices: for the woman, it consists in ensuring the mission of management control of family resources and the social conduct of children,
- Stakeholders’ dialogue: is a framework for inclusive discussion on all family issues.
- Family members are seen as stakeholders and their commitment to protecting the collective family interest helps to model the brand image embodied by the family name.
